Easter morning, the kids woke to find their baskets waiting for them. Eden got to do an Easter egg hunt at the church. We are trying to teach Dakota and Eden the true meaning of Easter, and realizing what Jesus did for us and how thankful we should be that he is our Risen Savior.

After church Easter Sunday, we made our way to the Angel's stadium to watch them beat the Red Sox! Eden made it to the 6th inning and then crashed. It was great end to a perfect day, celebrating the ressurection of our Lord Jesus Christ!
This was Dakota's last day in a uniform, he was quite happy about that. He'd been asking for so long if he could do homeschool and when I finally decided to do it, you could only imagine how happy he was. Dakota loves just hanging at home with his family, I just knew homeschool was the right choice for him.

The age gap between them is pretty big but they still play together nicely...well, most of the time!

Future major league player for the Los Angeles Angels! He's got some real talent & everyone who watches can't help but notice what a natural he is. It's so exciting to watch him play because Iv'e never seen him show such a love for a sport than when he's playing baseball. I'm one proud Mama.

My little girl is growing up so fast! I can't believe she's already going to be 2 next month.

Eden's shoe and hat obsession is still ongoing. I have a feeling it could get quite difficult as she gets older. I have a hard time getting her dressed with what I want to put on her. If she doesn't like the shoes I put on her she throws a fit until I put the ones that she grabs...she's not even two!!! She's a girl who knows what she wants and won't stop till she gets it, I know God has great plans for her!

If Dakota isn't surfing or playing baseball you'll find him at the Van's skatepark with his Dad. Dakota is one of those kids who loves to do a bit of everything and lucky for him...he's an excellent little athlete! Loving the messy do.

Dakota and I are having a blast doing homeschool. We start school when Edo takes her first nap in the morning & were usually done by the time she wakes. It's nice to be able to spend more time together. On this paticular day it was so nice out that we moved our school to the backyard.

It's so funny to see how different she and Dakota are from eachother as she gets older. Dakota was always really mellow and didn't like to wander off to far from us. Eden on the other hand is a little to comfortable being on her own and loves to run off from us...and that's where that monkey she's wearing comes in. I hold the monkey tails while she walks because this little girl does not like to listen when were yelling her name!

Riding her brother's scooter, or at least trying to!

Anyone who knows Eden can testify to how busy and how much energy she really has! But for the past week my little peanut got hit with the stomach flu and has not been her usual busy self. She just got up from a nap but still wanting to just lay in bed.  She's a lot better today but I can't wait till I get my crazy little girl back...I never thought I'd say that!
My poor little pumpkin, you know she's sick when she falls asleep on the couch. The Wiggle's were even on the tv...Wow!
I have a basket full of scarves and hats that she loves to rummage through. She'll bring me the things that she wants me to put on her. Little girls are fun, I can't wait till she gets a little bigger and she wants to dress up and then go out in her crazy costumes. I love seeing little girls at the grocery store in their princess outfits, it's too cute!
Edo in her stylish raincoat with her little Converse. She is so funny, she just loves to run around the house and get in to everything she can. With Dakota I never had to put safety locks on the cupboards, but with's a whole different story!
Eden is really growing up. Her hair is starting to get long enough to put in pigtails and she just looks like such a toddler! It's so hard to believe that she will be 2 in just 3 months! I enjoy all these times with her so much because I know how quickly it goes by.
She loves playing in her tent.

Deacon is so funny, he loves to look for toys to play with in Eden's toy box. And pretty much every time he comes out with the same toy...
 His little stuffed puppy.
As you follow my blog more and more you will see  that I have a cupcake obsession! These one's are from Sprinkles, they are more aesthetically pleasing than they are tasty. But I still love going there. Across the way at Bristol Farms though, they've got some awesome ones!
Her exact words when I was trying to get this picture..."Edo!"
My kids love The Camp, it's the closest they've ever come to really camping...sad to say.  We get a little dessert from Natives and sit around the fire pit they have, it's soo nice. She's not to happy at the moment because I made her stop for a picture!
Model material right here!
Since we started a fast with our church we have been spending a lot of time at The Camp, enjoying amazing food at Native Foods. It's so nice not to have to drive to LA to get good Vegan food!
Couldn't make it through, Horton Hear a Who. There she is again with that blankie and "b-b".

Trying to get some Valentine's Day pics of my babies!
She can do it all by herself...little miss independent.
Brother was trying to help her, but she wasn't having it.
Wii Fit hula hooping. Fun for the whole family.
Say "Cheese".
Eden is a blankie and pacifier baby. She won't go anywhere without them! It's not like she's going to take them off to college with her. So, I let her have her soothies;) My Mom always says if she could still give my brother a pacifier to be quiet she would...he's 36!
PSP obsessed! My question to him..."Did you do your Devotion's"?
Caught in the act! She's trying to eat the stolen cookies as fast as she can. Brother was on the chase!
Mmm...then after we headed over to, Susie's Cupcakes! Some of the best cupcakes I've ever had.  The peanut butter chocolate one was sooo good.
She was having such a blast being able to eat her lunch up on top of the window alcove. She's so hard to take out to eat because she doesn't like being confined to a highchair. So, this place gave her the freedom to eat where ever she wanted!
Out to eat with Grandma and Grandpa. Got to sit on these fun couches overlooking the water. She loved it!

Her other favorite thing...trying on my shoes! Loves to get all the shoes out of my closet.
